The relay can optionally be switched in manual or automatic mode. The switch for the manual operation always indicates the switch status of the relay. The operating mode can be set via a manual/automatic switch, is displayed via an LED and transferred to the process image as a status bit. In manual mode, the coil control is interrupted and the relay is operated via the manual switch. The manual operation can also be used without 24 V supply for switching the actuator.
